City life for me.
D.F., CDMX, Distrito Federal, Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico City! Whatever you want to call it, I’ll take it either way. I just returned from my third trip to Mexico City and have come back even more in love with the city. There is something so magical about this city including the people, THE FOOD, the architecture and it’s history. I’ve compiled a list of my top favorite things to do, visit, eat while visiting the city. This list could have gone on forever but I chose to stick to my standard 9 cube template.
Feel at home by staying at Ignacia Guest House in Roma Norte.
Catch the morning sunrise and fly over Teotihuacán on a Hot Air Balloon.
Discover the magic of Luis Barragán architecture by visiting Casa Pedregal (now a private residence).
Grab a cafecito at one of Mexico City’s oldest coffee shops at Café El Jarocho.
Must try the tostas de atun at Entremar (or Contramar).
Indulge in the 2672+ day old Mole Madre at Pujol.
A night cap at Salón Rosetta.
Be awed by the architecture and largest private collection of Rodin sculptures at Museo Soumaya.
Drop your postcards off at the Palacio de Correos de México built in 1907.
